During my recent trip to the interior of BC I tried photographing star trails. I would have liked to try some longer exposures, but due to the moon cycle that was not practical (the sky was too bright). Today's image is an approximately 7 minute exposure, with the big dipper in the image. I'm hoping to go out and get some longer exposures, but it might be a while as there are too many city lights where I live.
