So you might be thinking, a picture of a sink, wow the rainy weather last week has really kept you stuck for photographic ideas. You'd almost be right! At the same time being stuck photographic forces you to try and be a little creative with things that are well known to you. You might even start seeing interest in things that you'd never paid much attention to before. 

I have come to love the D3100 for black and white photography due to the nature of the grain at high ISO ratings. Today's photo was taken at ISO4500 (via auto ISO), and I'm very please with the image quality. If this shot was in colour the noise in the image might not be very pleasing to the eye, but in black and white, as long as you nail the exposure, you wont have any problems at high ISO sensitivities.
