Another recent photo of fall colours here in Greater Vancouver. In some ways the transition here can be a little disappointing, because many of the leaves are turning dull yellows or brown, rather than red. Hopefully a shift towards red will start to happen in the next few weeks! There have also been a few early fall windstorms, which have taken their toll on the leaf count, but many trees are still holding onto a large number of their summer foliage. In any case the leaves in this photo display the shift in colour that is currently taking place rather well.
