Red Eye (POTD October 20)

This American Scoot was not overly troubled by my presence, so I was able to get some close up shots with the 18-105mm VR mounted on the D7000. I patiently waiting for sunlight to hit the bird's eye, which lights up a brilliant red under such circumstances.
