For reasons that allude me, owls seem to draw in photographers like someone handing out free candy to children at the market. I guess it is the same reason I went to check the owl out, they are somewhat fascinating. During the time I was photographing this Long Eared Owl there were as many as 12 other shooters around. Given how wide spread the information of this owls position was, I would not be surprised if there are literally thousands of photos of the owl sitting on this post. None the less, here is my sample.
