February is one of my favourite months of the year, why? Crocuses start to bloom in Greater Vancouver during February, for one thing. Right now our gardens are literally full of these beautiful purple and white variants of them, thus the name of the image "A Sea of Crocuses." The harsh mid day sun also makes this process a lot easier, as it brightly highlights the petals of these little flowers, as bees and wasps bounce from flower to flower.
