View Of North Vancouver
Another image from an outing yesterday afternoon, this time a shot facing towards North Vancouver. Unknown to people who are not from the area North Vancouver, like West Vancouver, is not a part of Vancouver proper. These two cities north of Vancouver are considered suburbs of the larger city and are separated from the latter by Burrard Inlet.
In the image above you can see two of the many large transport ships anchored in Vancouver Harbor, which is just beyond the first narrows (Location of the Lion's Gate Bridge) of Burrard Intel. The rainy weather yesterday made for rather dull images, but this is what the area is like for most of the winter and early spring. Hopefully as spring progresses I'll be able to post some more colourful images of the region.
