Morning is a great time to get out and make photographs for several reasons, the light, fewer other people around to get into your shots, and it tends to be a quiet time of day. The peaceful hours of the day are my favourite, without a doubt and so I like to make images that capture that essence. The calm of the morning is what I tried to portray in today's image. The lake is smooth, almost without the ripples that normally cover it, and the reeds are still in the breezeless early hour.
