Compared to the usual honks, sirens and other noises of city life, a walk in a forest is peaceful, for me anyway. Yesterday afternoon I went for a walk to the lower falls on Gold Creek, in Golden Ears Provincial Park to get that very experience. The walk is not very long, only 2.7 KM / 1.6 Miles each way, on a well marked trail over gentile terrain. The trail leads you through tick brush and tall trees along Gold Creek, till you reach the 10m / 32 ft falls. Today's photo was taken a few minutes from the parking lot near the entrence to the trail.
