Wednesday afternoon I was walking on the dike along Boundary Bay, which hosts plenty of wildlife thanks to the ongoing migration of many shore birds at this time of year. It was a breezy afternoon, and I was watching the sky closely as there were numerous storm clouds around the area, which meant rain was not far off at any given time. At one point during the afternoon I noticed sunlight breaking through the clouds and knew that I had to make an image. I get that feeling anytime I see visible rays of light from the sun, and this occasion would be no different.
