I just got home from a work meeting and read the news that Steve Jobs passed away today. I was a little surprised, and yet also not, due to his recent health issues. It is sad to see his loss, on various counts.
I cannot think of very many people who have indirectly impacted me as much as the work of Steve Jobs has. Even before I knew who he was I was using products designed by Steve and his team, in the flavour of early Macintosh computers back in the 1980's. Even today I feel the impact of what his life work has done, in the form of Apple products that I use now. Thanks Steve.
