The first fruits of this years mating season have appeared, with the Canada Goose goslings photographed here being the first young birds I've seen in 2013. I noticed other birds, Marsh Wrens, Sandhill Cranes, along Tree and Barn Swallows in process of building nests. Life in the marsh is simply buzzing right now, both in terms of the birds and the return of plant life.
