Trout Creek

Trout creek is not a major water way, or even a well known one, but it is the link that binds the four lakes in Sasquatch Provincial Park (Deer, Hicks, Trout, and Harrison). While there is not as much water in the creek now, compared to a previous visit in the spring, the location still has a great deal of potential. It is often advisable to keep bright sunlight out of a longer exposure like this one, but without it the colour in the rocks would have been hidden. Later shots, where the light has shifted, look flat in comparison because the rocks look gray and dull.

Settings wise, the image was made with a 2 second exposure, ISO100, F13, with a polarizing filter on the lens to cut out reflections.
