Two weeks ago today the pair of Sandhill Cranes at the George Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary had their chick. This image is from my first sighting of the chick with it's parents last Saturday afternoon. Throughout the day the Sandhill Cranes stayed as far away from people as they possibly could, so getting a close up shot was not possible.
