For the latter part of last week the Greater Vancouver area experienced heavy fog, something of a rarity in the area. A temperture inversion also took place, creating an odd mix of fog mixed with slightly cooler than normal weather, at least in the low lying areas. In Vancouver it would be 2˚C/35˚F (during the day), while up at 1000 feet it was 7˚C/44˚F. Such conditions made shooting this image a treat, since it isn't very often that it is warmer on Cyprus Mountain than in the city (during winter).
