The overpass in the image above was finished last year, as a means of connecting people living north of highway 1 to the nearby parkland on the south side. After seeing this overpass lit of up at night, while driving under it on the highway a few times, I knew I wanted to take photos of it.
Doing a photo shoot in the rain is not the most pleasant experience, but it can be rewarding. I say that because rain has a way of making colours pop out in an image. In this case I think that effect was not as pronounced as I would have hoped, but I think the results turned out okay in any case.
