Fall lingers on, and the bright colours that once dazzled the eye are now starting to fade away, as the last of the leaves tumble to the ground. This mid-season transition brings those of us in the northern hemisphere ever closer to winter, and creates a longing for the warm, bright days of summer. As the length of daylight draw ever shorter, any sunlight that breaks through the looming clouds is greatly appreciated. That is particularly true here in the Greater Vancouver area, in which November is usually the wettest month of the year. Today was one of the brighter, warmer days (for November), and it was a welcome one, after nearly two weeks of nothing but rain.
