All In A Row
As with yesterday's photo, today's is of frost. The shapes and texture of ice is fascinating, as each one is similar, yet so different. I like to take a less traditional approach with such shots, keeping the depth of field thin, rather than trying to get everything in focus. That makes nailing focus critical for shots like this. Also, there is a great deal of negative space behind the subject, and in some ways in front of it as well. When the subject stands out against everything else, then you have the opportunity to do something a little different that usual.
